The Vienna Theatre Company hosts the sixth year of its Theater for Young Audiences (TFYA) initiative with a special production of Jack and the Beanstalk, for 4 matinee performances only.
Synopsis
Jack and the Beanstalk is a faithful retelling of the well-known fable, and is presented to encourage audience interaction. A real cast pretends to be imaginary characters, aided by a "magic keeper" who helps them tell the story. Using the device of "a play within a play," the script makes a connection to child's play and the magic of imagination!
