Other considerations

VTC works with the Department of Parks and Recreation Department and we must follow their rules of operation when using their space. The VTC board will assign a liaison to work with you, and or your producer to make sure this relationship has the needed communication and cooperation.
VTC will provide a budget for your producer to work with. This will cover set materials, props, and costumes.
Directors are expected to assemble their own team, including Producer, Stage Manager, Asst Stage Manager, Lighting, Sound, Set building, Props, Costumes, Set dresser etc. VTC has a Board of Directors and can assist in recruiting any vacancies you might have. In general, this crew needs to be assembled in advance of auditions. Your contacts and abilities in this regard are a factor in our director selection process.
Casting decisions should be made within 1 week of first audition date
– Actors are told this at audition
– Those not making call backs should be contacted within 48hrs of audition date
– All actors contacted with results and a thank you
– Submit names, emails, and positions to VTC board liaison
You will have the ability to construct and rehearse on your set for weeks before opening.  The stage set will not need to be taken down in between show production dates.  You and your production team are responsible to build and strike your set. Generally we ask actors to assist in construction and require them to assist in strike at the final Sunday performance.
You must organize light and sound board operators for each show.
VTC will provide all the promotion support for the show. This includes Head shots, advertising, signage, Facebook posts, email blasts and business cards.
VTC has a stock of set pieces, building materials, props, and costumes you will have access to.
VTC will provide personnel to house manage all of the productions.
